Event Scheduling
Plans should be made at least four weeks prior to the date of the event by contacting us at 667-6312 or emailing us at this address. Please have available such information as date, time, location of event, and estimated number of guests expected.
Minimums
All buffets and plated meals require a 25 person minimum. Events under the 25 person minimum will incur a surcharge.
Guarantees & Payments
A non-refundable deposit of $200 shall be due upon booking the event. For proper planning, an estimated number of guests must be given at the time of the reservation. At the time of booking an agreement will be drawn up stating all specifics about your event and estimated costs. A minimum guaranteed count of guests is required 14 days prior to the event date and a non-refundable 50% of the estimated bill is due at that time. A guaranteed count, upon which charges will be based, is required for all events two days prior to the event at which time the full finalized bill must be paid.
Business accounts can be set up with net 30 days with prior approval.
Cancellations
Cancellations made within 14 days of the event date may result in additional charges to cover costs incurred.
Surcharges & Tax
A surcharge of $75 will be charged to all events to cover set up and clean up of all food services. In cases where servers are needed for the event a 20% service charge will be applied to the finalized food bill. A traveling surcharge will be incurred for all events 25 miles or more outside of the local Ellsworth area. Applicable Maine State sales tax will be applied to all events.
Quantities
Quantities for menu items sold “per person” are based on average consumption. We commit to providing ample quantities for the number of guests guaranteed. You will be responsible for the guaranteed number of guests or the actual number of guests in attendance whichever is greater.
In cases where food and beverage are ordered by specific quantity we will prepare and provide the amounts specified and there will be no buffer. We will work with you to make sure quantities are enough to serve your event based on a set number of guests and average consumption.
Extras
We provide rentals from place settings to the whole set up with tables and chairs. We will happily coordinate and facilitate any rentals, floral arrangements, cakes, photography, limousine, and DJ requests.
